ABit IP95 and 8800GT

Ok I've just got my new EVGA 8800GT KO and I'm trying to run it in my Abit IP95 only it doesn't display!

I've googled it already but can't find anyone else with the same problem.

The mobo *should* run at x16 but I have the sneaking suspicion that it isn't doing so.

I've tested the card in another machine. I've tested my PCI-e slot. Contacted Abit to ask what the crack is but haven't got anything back yet.

Does anyone have any idea whats going on?

Abit ip95
EVGA 8800GT KO
2GB GEIL DDR400
C2D E2180
Corsair 520W PSU
2 x Seagate SATA HDD

You said you've tested your pci-e slot....did it work with another card? I'm assuming that when you put your card in another machine it worked then? You may have to go into BIOS and disable integrated graphics if you had those running...

I haven't looked up your mobo so I don't know, but are you sure the PCI-e is 2.0 or 1.1? I recently had to RMA a mobo becuase it only supported PCI-e 1.0a, and the 8800gt only supports 2.0 and 1.1 (and i think 1.0 but not 1.0a)

And I agree with rayzor...you may have to just screw with the BIOS
