ABIT KV7 Usb boot

I need to format/reinstall windows socket A computer for relative.

0. I wonder if anyone knows is this possible, the mobo is old but maybe it supports?

solution 1: Install windows 7, as the cd-rom in the pc seems to be broken I need to install it from USB stick.

Solution2: Put the internal hardrive inside a USB external enclosure, connect my laptop to it with USB, install windows from my laptop into USB harddrive?

you need to have direct acces to the drive even with the laptop,so the laptop got to load from usb with no internal drive in

yeah, I actually used my laptop now everytime I start my laptop only from internal there is like added boot OS now
