I have these :

CPU : Intel I-5 4570 3.2 Ghz
Ram : 8GB
Motherboard : ASRock Z87 Extreme 4 (CPUSocket) 26Co
GPU : NVidia GeForce 750 Ti
Samsung TV 1920x1080

I'm thinking of upgrading to a GTX 900 series, the card I want to get is this :

EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0+ 4GB GDDR5 256bit, DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI, DP SLI Ready Graphics Card 04G-P4-3975-KR

^ So, my question is, is this gpu card fittable on my motherboard? That's all I want to know, and If yes, will it destroy the cpu? Or will it help it? Thanks for your time, and I hope someone will notice this.

my monitor is already an overkill 32" TV Screen....I don't mind If I spend smth more, I just want a very strong gpu that can play any game for this year, the next year and the year after that. That's all I want. I want the gpu to help the cpu to not get so hot, and I will also try to upgrade the cpu custom fan with an HYper Evo smth I don't know, I'm so stressed and afraid, I don't know what to do... thank you for your answers, so, is it really fittable? I don't mind with the case thing, I have another case, a giant server metal like case, maybe I can use that, right?

PSU's have a lot of factors that can make them different sizes and quality.

Your PSU has enough advertised wattage, but it depends if your PSU can deliver enough of that wattage on the 12v rail. The quality of a PSU is really important too.

I would really try to figure out the model of your PSU before getting your 970.
