About acer motherboard

I bought Acer Aspire M3660 last three years, the motherboard is Acer G41t-AM,recently i wanna update my computer so i'd like to change my CPU.(My CPU is Pentium E6600)
thus i choose Xeon E5450 (C0 stepping) as my next CPU, but my motherboard is socket 775 , so i have to change LGA 775 to 771.
however, i don't know whether my motherboard's bios suppose socket 771 CPU, if not, what should i do?

You need to purchase a 771 based motherboard and if using the old acer case, good luck in trying to get all the cables connected, your better off purchasing a new case to go with it.

so do you ever try to put a 771 CPU on a modded 775 motherboard?
