About CPU and GPU

So........... I have a Gtx 1070 and a 1060 3GB...

And i wonder what is the minimum CPU for both of those so it don't bottleneck

What resolution and Hz would this be running?

A i5 8400 or Ryzen 2600 are generally where I would start. If trying to run 1080p 144Hz then the 1070 paired with a 8600k would be very good.

so what is the BORDER LINE MINIMUM for these GPU

1080 60Hz or higher Hz?

The bare minimum is a modern quad core but several of the latest AAA will see more FPS drops. Also buying the bare minimum today means you have no headroom for the future and game requirements always go up with time.

Not exactly modern and weaker than I would recommend in 2018. I was thinking i3 8100 or Ryzen 1200 as minimum. You will sacrifice some performance in cpu heavy games but at least you have a modern platform to drop a better cpu in later.

Depends on the game. It’s more about target FPS. With a 60Hz monitor you only need 60fps, with a 1070 you can run higher settings while achieving 60fps.

The 8100 or 1200 will not run all modern games at a minimum of 60fps regardless of gpu choice. This is why I was suggesting a 8400 or 2600 as this will far exceed 60 FPS and should last several years.

The 1400 is still a quad core but with hyper threading. It is slightly better but not much.
