About download speed

My internet speed is around 3 mbps but torrent download speed is only 50 kbps . Other download speed are good . Only torrent download speed is very low . How to solve this problem

This is not a 'problem'

1. Your torrent client reports in megaBytes per sec, your internet speed reports in megaBits per sec. Approx 1:8 ratio.

2. Torrents are not from some central uber-fast server. You are reading little bits and pieces of a file from other peoples hard drives. And other people are reading from yours.

That depends entirely on the speed that the torrent source(s) is allowing, generally torrents are low speed because people are feeding them out in the background. Just because you have a "fast" internet download pipe doesn't always dictate your download speed, it also depends on how fast your download source is feeding you, which you have no control over.

My friend has same connection from same isp but he gets download speed over 300 kbps ?
