About floppy disc

Hello again..
I need an floppy and disc for it, since I have bricked my old 775Dual-vsta with bios flashing....
I have found fd1231m model, it says 1.44mb , soo I should buy 1.44mb 3.5" floppy disc for it if im right?
Thank you.
And no, this motherboard can be reflashed via original CD or Floppy.
Thank you.
And no, buying an bios chip is rather expensive (20$ i belive).

I am curious to know how you bricked it. Typically MB will perform a CRC checksum to validate the BIN file of the BIOS file you're loading. In addition, the utility should have validated compatibility based on the existing BIOS in place.

Basicly as the motherboard doesnt support 45nm and Quad cores, I initially inserted microcodes via 771-775 delid site from tutorial, the size didnt went above specified flash size of bios, but as I started to flash, it was too late....
I basicly removed all P4 microcodes and kept newer ones from Quad cores and Pentium E5800 and above, but I had installed P4 in that time while flashing....

And thats how I met my dad "Floppy".
