i want some clarifications about FSB overclocking..

i got this Athlon x2 II 255(?) before and i can OC the FSB way up to 110~120 (depends on the current temp of the day)

but i noticed i can hit higher.. but as i got higher thing gets weird.. things kinda speeds up..
at 140+ sounds are sped up noticeably and some movements (game) too..

i was wondering if this will happen to newer CPUs?

PC:
CPU - AMD A8 7600 (65w mode)
Mobo - Gigabyte f2a68hm-s1 rev1.1
PSU - DE 500 (350w rated / 500w max)
RAM - Avexir 1x8GB CL11 @16 (CL12 @21.33)
GPU - Palit GTX 1050-Ti

Usually newer CPUs for overclocking have unlocked multiplier so you don't have to deal with FSB. Your Athlon cpu would have to be Black Editon to have unlocked multiplier. Try using divider to get memory speeds around the stock clock, this might solver your problem.
