about gtx 760 (use of a hdmi cable)

I am using my TV version hdmi cable which is a v 1.3 deep colour. MSI N760 supports 1.4 a what is the advantage ? is that going to affect my picture quality ? Can i use a 2.0 version of the cable ??

The ONLY difference between HDMI cables aside from build quality is the amount of data they can transfer. The reason version 2.0 is needed is for 4K video.

There's actually a list at Wikipedia for what adds to the bandwidth needed (3D, better audio..), but for your purposes ANY HDMI cable will work just fine. There will be absolutely NO benefit to one over the other (unless one is damaged).

oh I thought it may be give me a little edge over the 1.3 version. thanks for clarifying this .By the way i am using a high speed HDMI cable
