It can easily run GTA5 at Medium(1366x768)-Low(1920x1080) settings smoothly. Just don't add heavy mods and don't expect it to run on high settings.

The i5 model will outperform i7 easily both CPU and GPU are more powerful on i5 model.

Just a warning - the screen on the Lenovo 330 is pretty bad. Dim with very pale colors. If you can, try to see one in a store before you buy it. See if you can live with the screen.

I haven't seen the Ideapad 520, so can't comment on its screen.

As it is I recommend OP to go with Ideapad 520 over 330 as it has better package for lower cost.
