You didn't clarify whether you have a K cpu or not.
- If you have a K CPU, get an Intel motherboard with a Z77 chipset from ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, Biostar, AsRock so that you can overclock your CPU later.
- If your CPU is non-K, get an Intel motherboard with either a B75 or H77 chipset from the above manufacturers as well. The CPU with "K" suffix will work as well but it cannot be overclocked on B75 or H77.
You can look up the motherboards and choose the ones that is more suitable for you based on:
- Number of USB 2.0/3.0 ports
- Form factor ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX
- Number of PCIe slot
- Number of SATA slot
- Audio and Ethernet chips and whatnot.
- Other features such as SLI and Crossfire suppport
