I'm about to buy a new video card (RX 590), but I'm confused about the specs required and the specs of my motherboard (H81M-K)

Video card specs says:

PCI Express® 2.0 or higher version based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard in order for the card to be compatible with.

And my motherboard says it has:

Expansion Slots
1 x PCIe x16
2 x PCIe 2.0 x1

If I understand correctly, I need an x16 2.0 slot, but I have an x16 1.0 slot. Which means it's non-compatible. Or is the whole thing 2.0?

Currently I have a GTX 750 as my video card.
