Previous build:
MSI 970 Krait SLi
4x4GB Crucial Ballistix DDR31866
FX8320E
Nvidia 750Ti x2
725w PSU
So one night I set the computer to do some reencoding and went to bed. Got up in the morning and computer wouldn't turn on. Not even a whir.
So replaced the PSU with a good working one and still not even a whir.
Ordered an MSI970 Gaming, plugged everything back in, turns on, no screen signal. Assume video cards got shot and order RX470. Video card lights turn on a few secs and then card acts like it's resetting. No video signal with either rx470 or other two 750Tis. Assume mobo is shot and order gigabyte 970a gaming sli.
Still doesn't work, return MSI970 Gaming and get a Gigabyte 970 gAming. Still no video signal with all three cards. Just bought a new evga 600w psu. Can hear the standard mobo bootup sounds, and still no video signal and rx470 still looks like it's steadily resetting.
At this point in only the RAM and CPU away from from a brand new computer. Can a failed CPU or failed ram prevent you from getting any sort of of video signal? Any one had this before?
