about pendrive details

i am having cooler master haf 912 side transparent case which has 1 3.0 usb port and 1 2.0 usb port a front. when i connected to front 3.0 port usb 3.0 transcend pendrive did not detect. so i connected at the back usb3.0 port it detected but speed was showing 2to4 mbps per second transfer rate. it was very slow. i dont know why . what is the actual reason for slow transfer rate. please reply.

What is your motherboard?
Are you sure that is slow for your USB stick?
