So, here's the case:
I had Kingston ?8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (2X4)
And today I bought Corsair VengeanceLP 2X8 1600MHZ
And when I installed it and booted up my computer, I went to Speecy and it showed- 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)

Can someone tell me why is it lower? ( BTW, im sorry if this tread is stupid.. My knowledge with this stuff is not really high)

laptop or desktop? if its a laptop you probably wont be able to change it, if its a desktop you need to go into your bios (your screen should tell you to hit a key when it first powers on) then enter the correct ram speed, shouldn't be hard just reed some instructions for your specific motherboard model.

I'm on desktop, thanks

Motherboard- Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. H87M-D3H SOCKET 0
CPU- Intel Core i5 4570 @ 3.20GHz Haswell 22nm Technology
And no, only the new ram is in the pc

Is it overclocking?
BTW why isn't in 1330MHZ? Is it becuase I have dual channel?

Well, I have enabled XMP and now it's 1600MHZ, my question is: it won't damage something later on?
