[SOLVED] About RGB Cooling Fans

Motherboard: GIGABYTE H61M-S2P
PSU: Seasonic 520 Watt bronze (I don't remember the exact name)

I want to buy an RGB fan and the 2 choices I have are the bitfenix spectre RGB 120MM and the coolermaster fan 120mm RGB. My motherboard doesn't support Asus Aura. My question is, will the RGB work normally like change colors without any need of Asus Aura or an RGB controller? You know, like a static RGB effect?

Can't I just connect the RGB fan to the power supply if there's no place on the motherboard>

There is no RGB header on that MB so you need an RGB controller for fan's lights.
