I hope this will make sense. I have a little issue that has crept up over the last couple of days that is more of an inconvenience than a "real" problem. Let me see if I can explain what is going on:
This is all in Chrome (tabs).
client portal (full sized Chrome Window)
e mail (half window-one side of screen L)///////// calendar (half window-other side of screen Rt)
Quickbooks (half window - one side of screen L)
below the left side in 1/4 window I have file explorer where I move between folders and Dropbox. Other 'demands' for additional file explorer open above that as 1/4 window on top side left. (such as when adding things to the portal)
In order to make my workflow easy I generally keep such as the Quickbooks window and the calendar window up at the same time, take my notes and so on. I then go down to the taskbar, hover over the Chrome icon (shortcut) and can select other needed tab through the little preview it shows there. Normally done by just clicking the preview.
For about a week now I have had this issue where I can go down, preview off the taskbar, but clicking onto the preview will not make the tab come up "on top" of the other active tabs. If I minimize file explorer and open it back up, then the preview/click method will work again for a moment for the Chrome tabs. It does not seem to follow my moving or editing anything within the file explorer window. I can find no reason for causation.
