About the GPU and Monitor

Hello community.

I'm planning on buying this GPU: XFX Radeon R7 360 2GB DD Edition

And this is the monitor I have: Asus VS197DE

Will they work together because of the display port etc? Please help...

Your monitor has vga port, while your gpu has 2 dvi, 1 hdmi and 1 display port. If you get these 2, you will have to use something like a dvi ti vga adapter.

Thanks! And if I use this adapter, will it work properly? Will I lose any performance somehow?

You won't loose any performance, However with VGA the image quality is not quite as good as with something like HDMI. But since you have been using that monitor without it bothering you, you'll be fine.
