About the GTX 900 series

Has NVIDIA and their partners stopped manufacturing the GTX 900 series? I want to upgrade my GT 730 to a Zotac GTX 960 AMP but I'm afraid they've have stopped making these cards. Stores in my countries are giving me really confusing replies. So can you guys help me with this? If they have stopped then can you suggest me any other alternatives?

Usually products like these are discontinued before they start manufacturing new models to make room in inventory for new chips/products (it usually takes quite a while for distributors and retailers to run out of stock after this). Why don't you look into GTX 1xxx series or equivalent AMD part in the same price range? Something like GTX 1050ti or GTX 1060, or RX 460/470.

Yep, the only reasons I can think of not going for one of these would be no analog VGA or Windows XP drivers. Otherwise any of these would be considerably faster than a 960.
