This is my first build and want do a final check list on connections etc before I power it on. I don't want to fry anything! lol
Here's the set up I'm running first
Cooler Master HAF XB
Intel 8700k
Kraken X52 (didn't use thermal paste as I saw it already has it on there)
Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra MB
16GB 3000Mhz Ram (8 X 2)
SLI EVGA GTX 970 SSC ATX 2.0
EVGA G3 1000W PSU

Ok so here's my checklist
-MB Power hooked up
-CPU1 hooked up to the 8 pin (did not use the CPU2 for extreme OC)
-USB 3.0 Hooked up
-Front panel (HDD Activity, Power on, Reset hooked up) Reset did not have a + or - on the connectors, same with the power. Won't fry anything will I if it's wrong?
-Front panel HD Audio hooked up to F_Audio header
-Kraken USB hooked up to USB1 header
-Kraken power hooked up to Sata off the PSU, fans connected to extra connectors inline with that
-Kraken fans hooked up to CPU Fan Header
-Rear 120mm fan hooked up to a SATA PSU (can I connect this to any MB fan header instead? Will it get powered from the header?) Overall I'm a little confused on hooking up fans. The Aorus advertises 7 fan headers and being able to control them all. Sounds kinda cool. Not sure how that all works.

Do I have to hook up another cable for CPU Temp?

I only have one freshly formatted SSD hooked up at the moment (SATA Power and Sata data going to SATA 0 slot). I will boot off a bootable flash I made, take a look at the BIOS then move on to install windows off of USB.
I'll add my video cards, optical drives and other SSDs/HDD's later.

I'm going to leave all the side walls off the case for now so I don't have to tear stuff apart again later.

Any final advice before I hit the power button?

Also, I have a digital license linked to my Microsoft account. Can I just leave my old PC off and offline and then activate the new Windows on my new machine? It was an upgrade for Windows 7 so I have 1 transfer I can use.
