Hello~

I am new to Tom's Hardware and the world of PC building. I planned out a build(s) that I intend to buy and assemble soon, but I feel I should consult this forum for last minute recommendations to the build.

Primarily I use my laptop for emulation, with PS2 and 3DS being the big 2 I'm into at the moment. I don't play a lot of competitive games, like CS:GO or League of Legends, so I have 2 seperate builds where the only difference is the monitor.

Cheap Monitor: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/KaruKaneki/saved/#view=V8w6rH
Expensive Monitor: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/KaruKaneki/saved/#view=R9qpHx

Thoughts? Any critique is appreciated.

The psu is way overpriced. Get a Seasonic Focus GM instead, and use the saved funds to get a z490 motherboard and a i5 10600k or i7 10700k.

Do you want a big 27" monitor or a smaller 24" monitor?
The 27" is ips and will have better color, but the contrast and blacks will be lacking compared to the 24" VA panel. It's up to you what you would prefer.
