So right now, my gpu is a 6700xt, but to be honest, i'm a bit dissapointed with AMD after they basically forgot about us to focus on the 7000 series.

A friend of mine is selling me a super cheap 3080, but I'm worried about the electricity bill, can someone tell me with a percentage, how much can it increase if I play...let's say from 4 to 6 hours daily?

When I was running a 3700x and a 3080 with a 360mm AIO, 3x140mm fans and 6 LED strips I did monitor power usage using a smart plug. Under stress testing it pulled a maximum of 554W, while gaming it would average roughly 450w. This was with a platinum psu. At todays prices in the UK that is 3hrs gaming for £1 (not including monitor).

340 versus 217.

The op asked for a percentage.

Thus my "Don't know how much that helps".

Doesn't help him much if he pays a penny a kwh.

Might help him if he pays 50 cents.

He'd have to do his own rithmetic.
OK, so now theres numbers.

340-217= 123 watts diff.

Can be calculated quite easily.
Plug the numbers in here:

At my elec cost of $0.12kWh, at 6 hours a day.....$2.69 per month extra.
