About to buy a monitor for new gaming rig - need help

Hi

buying a new gaming rig. the specs are.
CORE 2 DUO E8400 3.0 Ghz
Asus P5N-D MAINBOARD
PALIT 896MB GTX275
4GB CORSAIR XMS2 DDR2 800
Antec 900 CASING
700w SUPPLY
SUPER QUIET 22dBA TRIPLE COPPER HEATPIPE CPU COOLER


planning to overclock this rig above to atleast 3.6-4.0GHz for hte processor, and maybe a bit on the GPU.

I plan to get this monitor.

Am hoping to play most games on max settings with this rig on this monitor. (Company of Heroes, Age of Conan, etc)

the stated resolutions on this are: 2048x1152 .. and it says it also supports 1920x1200.

In case my rig above cant handle the games I want to play at this resolution and max settings, I want to be able to play on lower resolutions.
Questions:
1) do you think my monitor will be able to support it?
2) Do you think, given the cooling/case etc i have specified i'd be able to overclock my GPU and CPU?

Yeah im on an antec 900 1 and i can overclock my core i7 on stock heatsink without going above 65C CPU temp not core temp @ 3.5ghz. And it runs hotter than yours will by a lot.

I'm not sure what resolution you are wanting to play at.
A GTX 275 should handle 1920x1200 nicely.

The Antec 900 is a pretty good case you should be able to overclock pretty well, though the CPU Cooler sounds a bit fishy; "SUPER QUIET 22dBA TRIPLE COPPER HEATPIPE CPU COOLER".
Fortunately, your CPU is really nice already, as are your graphics.

wow. thanks for the info guys. much appreciated. .... i suppose if the GTX 275 can handle 1920x1200 well thats good enough, cos hte monitor supports it. and 2048x1152 is only about 50k pixels more, so hopefully, it can manage it with some overclocking ....
