Hi guys, I'm about to buy MoBo, CPU, RAM and Graphic Card.
CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K
MoBo: ASUS TUF Z390-PRO GAMING
RAM: 16GB DDR4 3000 Kingston HyperX Predator

Graphic Card: I'm not sure what to buy. GTX 1070 or GTX 1070Ti

Is there a big difference in the performance? Is the CPU good enough to handle the 1070/1070Ti or maybe even the GTX 1080.
I'm going to use only for gaming and maybe, just maybe streaming (not sure yet).
Thank you.

Will you be running a high Hz monitor? I have seen a few reviews in cpu heavy games where the 9600k maxes out across all cores at high FPS. While it’s only a few games at the moment it does show there is little to no headroom for future games. If only gaming at 60Hz and therefore 60fps is the target then this isn’t an issue yet.

CPU good enough? - Yes

Avoid 1080, unless price is lower than RTX 2070. Many 1080s are becoming over-priced as availability drops. If you can get a 1070ti for same / less price of a 1070, go for it, but be aware that there are many variants of all cards. Just going for the cheapest 1070 or 1070Ti might not be the best option.

See these spreadsheet images (recently updated). Bear in mind that prices are UK prices, and selected (trusted) vendors. Passmark and Userbench scores are averages, and take into account good and bad scores.

Red = Bench scores
Blue = Prices
Green = Bang per buck (the bench scores vs those current prices, so liable to change)

Based on that, in the UK at least, the 1070 Ti is generally a better option than the 1070, and the 2070 is way better than the 1080. While the 2070's bang per buck is lower than the 1070Ti, it comes down to performance and whether you are prepared to spend an extra £100 for it.

Your chosen CPU will be fine with any of them.

I'm going play at 60Hz at the moment. Yesterday i saw that the RTX 2060 is coming out so I'm about to wait a bit. So maybe i'll get the i5-9600k with a RTX 2060 (not the Founders edition). And i'm considering maybe the 9700k but we shall see. There is a big price difference between the i5 and the i7 9th gen.
