A decent parts selection for reasonable gaming framerates...(thats a good 6800GS price, btw!)

I'd opt for a 3500+ or 3700+ if economically viable, as that's about where the sweet spot is in processor prices...

Antec SmartPower is their budget line, the TruePower PSU's are the performers.
I would get the TPII and re-use case.

you can always get a case later when it is affordable.
But I have a TruePower 430watt PSU that has been running 24/7 for over 3 years now. And it is currently powering a Prescott 3200 and a X800XT-PE all the while very quiet.
My new Opteron 175 has the TPII 550watt

I reuse cases all the time, upgrading power supplies as required, and 500/550 watt units have plenty of power to spare...
