I'm looking for a low cost high end computer, so I'm going to be building my own for the first time ever.

I dont need any peripherals, just everything thats inside the case.
I am also trying to keep it under £1000

This is what I am looking at so far.

CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
Mobo - Asus P5B MB-151-AS
RAM - 2x 1GB XMS3200C2PT Corsair
GPU - 256mb X1800 GTO
PSU - Thermaltake PurePower TWV 500W
DVD - Sony CRX320EE CDRW/DVD Combi Drive
HDD - Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB 2500KS SATA-II 16MB Cache
Case - Thermaltake VA9000SWA Kandalf

And one copy of XP

Could you guys tell me if A: this stuff fits, B: what else WILL I need to build my own (paste, fans whatever) and C: Any suggestions on alternatives.

I figure that should be a future proof, nice working gaming/entertainment rig. However the most I have done in the past is fit a few GPU's, and mucked around with the BIOS, so I really dont have any prior experiance in building a comp.

Thanks.
