Question About to let rip on new build, final advice?!

Pricing of everything (except SSD and GPU) is WAYYYY off.

Why a 2.5" SSD and not M.2?

Wait a couple more days for B550 mobos to officially go on sale. You can browse them (feature-wise) already.

Right now is the worst time to buy PC components since everything is out of stock and/or significantly inflated on pricing due to COVID. Knowing what a GOOD/AVERAGE price for each component is will save you hundreds. Then it's a matter of getting your components at those fair prices.

Sweet man cheers for the advice, what do you suggest with the M.2 then?? Also what’s some good worldwide shipping websites that do some good sales so I can gauge a better price! New to all this so sorry for the stupid questions haha.

I’ve just realised I didn’t update the SSD. I actually picked a Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 500gb. So there’s the m.2!

That looks like a gaming PC, I would not buy the overpriced samsung SSD you can usually get a 1TB Crucial P1 for about the same price. The memory is way overpriced. Your also really going to need a aftermarket CPU cooler the stock ones are rather bad.

Would you not recommend a 3600mhz ram for the Ryzen or not necessary? I was just told they’d run better.

It is a gaming PC mate. Sorry I should have stated that. Oh right, I was told that the stock cooler on the 3600X is decent enough and won’t need a after market one?
