Ir recently upgraded mobo and CPU,and found out that I need to reinstall windows 10 on it because Windows considers a new motherboard a new device,I really don't want to have to buy a data disk with windows 10 on it because that is very expensive. Is there a way I could just transfer windows from my old setup to be compatible with my new motherboard?
And more importantly how would my hardrive that already has Windows 10 OS react? Any help would be appreciated thanks

If you have your Windows license associated with the MS Login you shouldn't have to pull the key from the old install. Your existing on-disk install will probably not boot. Any time a motherboard change happens, a clean OS install is recommended.
