About using iGPU and Nvidia GPU together (Quick Sync video encoding)

i have tried multiple things and read a few forums about it but when i try to enable the integrated iGPU in my cpu it does not show up anywhere.

i have turned it on in the BIOS and tried updating the drivers, while installing graphics drivers i got the message ''you do not have the minimum amount of specs'' or something like that, probably because my system doesn't even detect the iGPU

i basically want to use my Nvidia GTX 660 Ti for processing the games i play and use the iGPU at the same time for encoding.

the CPU is a Intel i5-2320 @ 3,7 GHz with Intel HD Graphics 2000 (it has Quick sync)

so is it possible? and if so, how do i get it to work?
i heard taking out the GTX GPU and first setting up the iGPU would work but i don't feel like taking the thing out if not necessary

other info that might be of help:
Full system specs: check signature.
CPU is overclocked.
GTX GPU has 2 displays on it.
i will be using the Quick Sync in the iGPU together with OBS streaming software for the encoding.

When you install a PCI or PCIe graphics card, the iGPU is automatically disabled to prevent driver and hardware resource conflicts (otherwise neither of them would work).

Some newer BIOS versions have an option to enable both iGPU & the PCIe GPU at the same time. If no such option exists you can't use both at same time. So get looking through the BIOS settings/options to see if you are in luck or not.

i have seen some people do it with the same BIOS as me, ill give it a try

USE INTEL QUICK SYNC FROM INTEGRATED GFX WHILE USING DISCREET AMD/NVIDIA GFX CARD

Enable Intel graphics card in BIOS

Check your PC BIOS User Manual or instructions to see how to enable Intel integrated graphics (iGPU). Enable Intel graphics and save BIOS changes.

Click with mouse right button on the desktop to show menu and select Screen Resolution.

Click Detect button to detect inactive video outputs.

Select detected display output for Intel® HD Graphics and select "Try to connect anyway on VGA" from Multiple displays" dropdown.

Click Apply button before making any additional changes.

Select your main display and select "Extend these displays" from Multiple displays dropdown.

Click Apply button and Keep changes.

Your displays setup should look similar like on the picture below. Click OK button to close Screen Resolution settings.

You have now enabled the onboard integrated HD Graphics, and should be able to select Intel QuickSync in your video conversion software when converting to MP4.
