Question About Vampire Diaries

So I might be the rare one who has not watches a single episode of Vampire Diaries till now, but I am planning to do so in the upcoming days. Have heard that it is really huge and needs at least a month to complete it. Do you think I should invest the time in watching it? Is it really worth it? My friends have been praising it a lot though.

Haven't finished it yet (paused ~ around end of 5th season). Think I'll have to resume watching it.

Another vamp themed series - definitely worth to watch - True Blood.
Suggest, you check it out. Way better than Diaries.
Have to warn you - it's not suited for children. Lots of adult content there.

Have started watching Vampire Diaries and it looks quite interesting. Though some people suggested that it might get boring in between, but as of now, it looks good enough. And thanks for suggesting this. It would definitely be the next one in my list.
