About Vram and Dmvt?

So I was wondering if I set my DVMT Total GFX Memory to MAX. And increased my DVMT Pre-Allocated. Is it safe and not destroy my computer?

Specs:
-iNtel Core i5 6400
-iNtel Hd Graphics 530
-8Gb of DDR4 Memory
-Gigabyte H11OM-DS2

Its safe, it will just remove how much RAM is available to Windows, and wont increase performance much.
