Copied order from Pcpartpicker (added a few things or will add), this is somewhat a lot to cover, i'll edit this as more info is given. I do want to reference this, let me know what i got wrong/should change and should add (mostly for gaming, but server/workstation stuff can be added, esp since i do want to get into them someday):

--(https://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html intel gets higher benchmarks than the Ryzen 7 9800x3d, but amd gets better game performance? https://www.techspot.com/review/2921-amd-ryzen-9800x3d-vs-intel-core-ultra-285k/)

There are new "things" coming out monthly if not weekly or daily.

Some of which may be pertinent. Or not.

Not sure what you are ultimately driving at with this post.

A new PC build?

With what budget?
I just want to know what new things are coming out and when, but not specific things that improve often like minor ram latency improvements and ssds minor speed improvements, but the things they improve over years i.e.ddr5 to ddr6, pci-e 4.0/5.0 to 6.0/7.0, etc. where things are drastically improved and/or can be.

You list 30 or 40 categories in your post.

I wouldn't expect anyone to be able to answer accurately other than the designers and manufacturers themselves.

They would have little motive to provide an answer inasmuch as they'd like to sell what is on the shelves right now. Never mind in May or next year.

You'd be immediately into rank speculation and rumor.

Leaving aside what constitutes "drastically improved". Marketing departments desperately want you to believe that all improvements are drastic and many consumers eat that up. You get to apply your personal opinion on that.

There are new things and levels ALL THE TIME.

And many, not available at "release date", so you have to wait some months.

Buy what meets your needs and budget, when you have the money ready.
Don't stress over the new shiny.
