Lately, I've been considering building my first gaming PC. I've done a lot of researching and shopping around, and I know everyone around here always touts how much cheaper, better, etc. it is to build your own. However, I came across some systems over on NewEgg by a company called ABS that seem kind of hard to beat for the price. From what I understand, it is basically Newegg's house brand. Take this system, for example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883102051&cm_re=abs_commander-_-83-102-051-_-Product
I know the advantage of building yourself is that you can pick all the parts, and it's hard to know what brands the various components of a pre-built system are. But from what I've seen, it seems like it would be virtually impossible to build a comparable system to the one linked above for a decently lower price. Anyone have any experience with ABS? Or any compelling reasons it would be better for me to try to build myself vs. buying that system?
