Hi,

I would like to start with an TextAdventure, but I don`t want to read so
much about all the games. I t would be nice, if you got an advice for me.
Not that much to read (screens of description) and not to difficult in the
clues....

Many thanx!

I'm not quite sure what you're asking here. Do you want advice about
playing text adventures in general? Or would you like some specific
text adventures recommended?

In the former case, I would recommended the Beginner's Guide to Playing IF,
http://www.microheaven.com/IFGuide/

In the latter case, I would recommend going to the IF Scoreboard,
http://www.carouselchain.com/if/statistics.php
The scoreboard will let you pick games by genre and playtime; it seems
like you might want to pick one of the puzzle-fests with a relatively
low playing time.

Adventure. Short pithy descriptions, only a few hard puzzles, and lots
of walk-throughs are available if you do get stuck. And, you'll forever
recognize all the references to it posted in this newsgroup.
