Abysmal fps when my specs seem fine.

Is there something im overlooking here? The reqiurements for the game im playing are lower than the specs i have here. Also by abyssmal FPS i don't mean 40 instead of 60, i mean 5-20FPS on Skyrim (lowest setting). Its even weirder when the game suggests that I should play on high setting. Any help is appreciated, been at this for 5 hours now...

The GPU is really weak and not really a gaming card. Minimum specs for Skyrim call for a GTX 550 TI or higher graphics card.

Oh boy... Is there any simple solution for this? I am clueless when it comes to this...

The best/cheapest option is to pick up a GTX 750 Ti which will work with your current set up and won't require any additional upgrades like a power supply. You might also look for a used card.

Yea, the easiest thing will probably be using the 750 Ti. A low profile card that doesn't require a 6 pin PCIe cable is what you'll need.

My power supply is pretty weak as well (250W), would it still work with the 750 Ti? Or should I also invest in a new power supply?

You can probably get by with the power supply although they recommend a 300 watt minimum. I've seen a number of people run them on 180 watt PSU's, but I wouldn't try it.
