[SOLVED] AC adapter making screeching or buzzing noise

i recently got alienware laptop and just noticed it's making screeching noise when i charge the laptop.
Noise is coming from both adapter and plugin cord.
Any ideas? is it harmful? should i replace AC adapter?
makes noise neither laptop is power off and power on.
(but the noise disappears when unplugging it from the laptop, even though AC adapter makes noise itself when plugged in, and the adapter is not getting hot)

Every phone and laptop charger I have makes that sound. Its called coil whine and usually comes from the transformer inside. You may try to get a replacement from the manufacturer but I would say its safe to use as long as it supplies the proper rated power.

will replacing adapter solve the problem? and unfortunately, I can't find the same adapter from local area.
