Hey folks Im a long time lurker first time poster. Ive used the recommendations for a couple system builds from here that have been great, now I have an issue with a laptop I bought about 10 months ago.

I bought a NP700Z7C-S01UB Samsung laptop from Bestbuy before coming out to Afghanistan and it works great and does everything I need it to do. However lately Ive noticed that the AC adapter is pretty hot to the touch.

What can be done for that, if anything? Can i get a better one or do I have to just dangle it front of a fan?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

They're suppose to accrue heat; some do more than others. It looks like this one has an i7 and a 650M graphics card, as well as a 17.3" display, sooo... the power supply will naturally get hot, as it has a fair amount of watts it has to push.

If you're concerned about it, you can purchase an additional adapter and see if it heats up comparably.
