AC Unity problem

Hello guys....i recently upgraded my windows 8 pro to a windows 10. Sadly, i couldnt upgrade cleanly, and all my old files were moved to windows.old. The thing now is, i had already installed AC Unity in my pc in another drive. When i tried opening it it said "unable to find ubisoft game launcher". So i downloaded uplay.....and when i open Unity, uplay opens up but the problem is, i cant play the game. It instead asks me to download it again....come on guys...53 gb is crazy. Plus i cant find my CDs as well....Im kinda desperately needing help!!! Please get back to me ASAP! THanks in advanced!

You must reinstall Assassin's Creed Unity from within your new Windows 10, absolutely no way to avoid that.

OH....okay. I thought maybe i could somehow add it to the list of existing games.......is that impossible?

Here's what you should try:
1) Start downloading the game again
2) Stop after a few MB and completely close uplay
3) Find where the files were kept
4) Copy the files you have into that folder
5) Try downloading again

If it suddenly spikes up to near 100%, congrats, it worked. If not, you'll probably need to redownload the game again.

Thanks a lot for that....ill try it and get back to you........oh and btw do you know the probable location in which it will download the files??? cuz instead of doing that i could redirect the download to the existing location...

If uplay supports redirect you can try that instead. Just remember that if it fails the files will be deleted and downloaded from scratch.
