AC:Unity Specs Query

Hello guys!
I just saw the released system specs of assassins creed unity...And my gosh! Just what the heck is happening?
I was wondering if i could play it at ultra 1080p....I have a gtx 770, 4690, 8GB ram.
One more query....if the minimum spec on PC is WAY HIGHER than that of the ps4, which if im not wrong has a 7870xt edition graphics card, how the hell will it work for all the othere console gamers? And wont UBISOFT's sales actually reduce?
I am really curious and baffled at the move ubisoft took...and wanted to know what you guys think about this issue....

It makes perfect sense to me. They try to make beautiful games. They suggest what hardware will get the job done so the player can max out the settings, have playable framerates, and enjoy their work to its fullest. I think putting out recommended hardware like this probably helps with any complaints / bashing from people with integrated / lower end hardware.

There are some really douchy people out there that expect to be able to set everything to 'ultra' and then get all butt-hurt and bash the developers if they can't.

Consoles / console games have significantly less going on on-screen. Particle effects, anti-aliasing, texture size, shadow complexity.... tons of things that can be tuned down to make it playable on consoles without ever compromising what really matters, the gameplay.

I feel game developers are deliberately putting higher minimum specs for pc games. I think it to put off people for moving to /staying on pc and stick with consoles.

So what you are saying is that..they have given the specs that are minmum enough to play this game at ultra settings? And one more thing...would i be able to play it in high settings?

if the specs given are actually the real minimum specs to play, then, the console versions would look Really bad...😛
