So yesterday I got a AC750 WiFi extender, plugged in on the wall, pressed the WPS button but it didnt got connected to the WiFi in my house.
I got the D-Link QRS app, and it did loaded my AC750 but my wifi wont show up. What should I do? Is it because I dont use a D-Link router?

No , it's not because your router & range extender are different brands, not at all.

I have a Netgear range extender and WPS didn't work on mine either. In fact WPS was a good idea in theory but rarely works in practice, whatever brand it is.

The thing to do is to go through manual setup on your PC, with the extender plugged in near to the router where you can see it's lights. Then, when you've got it set up, move the extender to where you want it to be.

The booklet supplied with the extender should explain how to do manual setup, or go to their website.
Mine was a cinch to set up manually because I've always done it that way on all WiFi devices I've owned, I don't even bother trying WPS - - waste of time.
