So i was overclocking my 980 Ti, i hit 1454Mhz on core and 3795Mhz on memory with only increasing power limit. Voltage show in GPUz 1.1930v

i was wondering what is a good acceptable voltage when overclocking? i've tried adding 50mV and getting my card to (1512Mhz/3947Mhz) and GPUz shows 1.2370v only tested in heaven/valley/firestrike(normal/extreme/ultra)

i understand CPU overclocking pretty well, just not sure about how far GPU voltage can be pushed too.

All of this is on stock bios. it would be nice to have the card for as long as it can run 1440p im hoping 3 more years? :) i have only got this card 6-7 months ago? so its pretty new as well

thanks for everything

hi there, personaly i don't do many OC on GPU's but one thing i know, voltage monitoring using software is very bad.
i allways check voltages with multimeter on the spot.
so, i can't advise you about gpu voltages (if they are good or not) but i can advise you to see if you can find some voltages checkpoins on your GPU PCB
here is an example of the spots you may find http://cdn.videocardz.com/1/2013/07/Galaxy-GTX-780-HOF-1.jpg

Not sure if you want me to take of the cooler and check? my is a 980 ti G1 gaming and from what i see on their site it has 8 power phases assuming its what you want me to be looking it? what can those tell me?

if you look on the picture i posted, there are 3 little spots called GPU_V (for gpu voltage) GND (ground) and DDR_V (memory voltage)
you don't necessarily need to take off the card apart to see if you have that kind of checkpoints, see if you can find an exact gpu like yours in the web with the cooler off and see if there are some voltage points to check
