My father has a SSD and whenever wants to access it he gets "Access is denied"... He was having problems with his computer and simply just reinstalled windows, (Windows was NOT on this drive). So we installed windows and his second SSD become non accessible.
I've chucked it into my computer to see if I could fix it, but I haven't been able to as of yet.
The thing that's been suggested is right click drive > Properties > Security > Advanced > "Owner: Change" At this stage is where I get "You do not have permission to view or edit this object's permissions settings".
Not sure what else to do. Note no data needs saving on this drive.
Any suggestions.
