From the description you’ve provided it sounds as though you might be encountering a blue screen. If you are getting an error code on this screen, you can post it for others to help you determine the cause.
The general advice for BSOD is to update any drivers that have newer versions available from the manufacturer. If you aren’t able to get into the operating system, that won’t be possible. If aren’t even getting the prompt to select Windows 10 Technical Preview or a previous operating system, you may also have an error with the boot records for your system. You can attempt to boot to recovery media and run bootrec /fixboot to attempt to
