access point configuration

I have a WD Mynet600 as my wireless router but am having some difficulty getting a strong signal at the other end of the house for the wife's ipad2 (my android tab is just fine!) I have a belkin N+ v2000 I wanted to setup as a wireless access point but I am failing miserably. please help!

on the router and the ap you have to put in the mac info of ap into the router set up screen. in the ap you have to put the router mac info and you may have to put in the wep key.
