access point disconnect

Hello guys, ive been having a problem where my computer keeps disconnecting from the wireless router. this happens frequently when i play online games (league of legends) i know that it is not the internet because all my other devices are still connected and i have to trouble shoot the wireless adapter to fix it how ever i had a game where i was disconnecting every 1-5 minutes i have a bt home hub 3 and i am running windows 8.1

Try hooking it up via ethernet and see if that works. Does it happen when you play other games? It is possible it is the MTU, WMM, or some other router settings.
