Accessing bios screen

Hi there,
New build intel DX79SI motherboard trouble accessing bios screen,press the relevant keys but no joy has 94_ in bottom right corner, the blank screen then_ appears then windows starts ?

94 could stand for Clearing keyboard input buffer - https://www.intel.com.au/content/www/au/en/support/articles/000005500/boards-and-kits.html

Are you using wired or wireless keyboard? If wired, try a different USB slot?

See if you can get into bios like this
in windows, go to settings/update & security/recovery
under advanced startup, click restart now button
PC will restart and load a blue menu
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose UEFI Firmware interface
PC should restart and load you into BIOS
