I have main wireless router (cum modem) DLink. To it I have attached secondary wireless router Netgear to increase wireless coverage. Netgear router has also an USB port to which I have attached a flash drive.

When my laptop is connected to Netgear router, it can access the flash drive. However, when the laptop is connected to DLink router, it cannot access the USB drive. What should be done so that the USB drive is accessible from the main router DLink as well?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have setup Netgear as Access Point, and I am able to surf internet through Netgear router. But I am not able to access flash drive attached to Netgear USB port when my laptop is connected to main router DLink.

Yes, it is LAN to LAN connection, with Netgear's DHCP disabled, an IP address (from DLink range) assigned. When connected with Netgear, it is usually \\readyshare to access the USB drive. Through DLink, I have tried both \\readyshare and \\<router ip>\disk, but to no avail. Maybe I will reset secondary router Netgear and start from scratch.
