so i was gaming im my Pc and the game freezed, so i restarted it, then realized my hdd was not showing on bios so i unplugged and i realized i broke the little thing that does a 90 degree angle with the cable in the port (picture below), leaving just a flat connection, so i plugged back in and it worked , after like 30 minutes of doing stuff the hdd waws no longer visible, restarted and is working again so my question is : is my hdd dying or is just bc of the broken port? should i backup?(the little thing in the red circle is the part i broke)
SMART shows drive is ok

Use SATA extension cable. It will secure the connector.
