Ok I'm new to overclocking! I overcocked my fx-8320 to 4.6ghz whilst altering my DRAM voltage to 1.45v by mistake! (Thinking it was cpu voltage xD!) Anyway, now windows wont boot (After I reset BIOS) It turns on, starts to boot and then a sudden Blue screen for half a second then turns off!

Has my windows been corrupt, or my cpu, or my RAM! Please someone help me!

16GB corsair Vengence RAM
850 Watt PSU

Will this help? I mean I did take out the CMOS battery for a minute and reset BIOS. Would doing the jumper thing restart windows?

Ok, I misunderstood, I thought you meant that the computer would not post bios.

First step: Completely reset your bios to stock settings .

It was running stable before you overclocked, right?

If yes, then reset the bios to stock so that it boots under the same conditions.

When it's stable you can resume trying to overclock.

It wont work as I cant access windows! It's almos like my windows has gone corrupt! I did reset it all back to stock which was a ood sign but then when i tried to boot into windows it goes to the "Logging in to windows" image and it quickly BSOD for half a second then restarts to Post bios again.
I tried recovering from an earlier date and that didnt work either!

Yea I'm so upset 🙁.

Everything is back to default and it's still doing it 🙁
I currenty dont have spare ram but don't think it may be the problem. I'll try a new ram anyway thanks man :)
