accidentally connected tcon cables backwards now tv turns on n led turns red flashes 5x...sony bravia 46v3000

you might have blown some capacitors on the board when you connected it backwards do you see any capacitors that are kind of bulging ?

checked everything....there is however a switch on main board that clicks and the led on the hdmi board flashes red n then goes out

when i unhooked the hdmi board the tv still didnt work but the led stayed green

then you might have blown something else in the main board... you might have to change the board

Reverse the TCON cables.
